PM Sensor (Particulate Matter Sensor) also called a soot sensor is a key emissions‑control component used mainly in modern diesel engines. Its job is to directly measure the amount of soot leaving the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and ensure the aftertreatment system is working correctly.
