Crankshaft Position Sensor (also known as an Inductive Crankshaft Pulse Sensor or RPM Sensor) constantly monitors the rotational speed and precise position of the crankshaft. This critical data is relayed to the Engine Control Unit (ECU) to precisely manage ignition timing and fuel injection for optimal combustion. This premium BOSCH inductive sensor features an integrated 355 mm cable for exact OE routing and guarantees a highly reliable signal output, ensuring smooth engine starting and operation. ⚠ Diagnostic Tip ⚠

Before replacing this sensor:

Inspect the 355 mm integrated cable for any signs of chafing against moving parts or melting from exhaust heat, which can short the signal.
Check the 2-pin oval connector for corrosion or oil intrusion.
Ensure the mounting surface on the engine block is perfectly clean. Debris will alter the fitting depth (36.5 mm) , pushing the sensor too far from the reluctor wheel and causing signal failure.
