BOSCH F00HL00355

Oxygen Sensor (Planar / Regulating Sensor)

Technical Data

Product Information

The Oxygen Sensor (Lambda Sensor) is a vital emissions control component. Functioning as a Regulating Sensor, it is positioned upstream (before the catalytic converter) to continuously measure the amount of unburned oxygen in the exhaust gases . This specific BOSCH unit features advanced planar sensor technology with an integrated heater, enabling it to reach operating temperature rapidly. This allows the Engine Control Unit (ECU) to precisely adjust the air-fuel ratio for optimal combustion efficiency almost immediately after startup . Featuring 4 circuits, a 500 mm overall length, and pre-greased M18x1.5 threads, it ensures a seamless installation . It serves as a direct OE replacement for a wide range of Opel, Vauxhall, Chevrolet, Fiat, and Saab applications .

About the Manufacturer: BOSCH is the original inventor of the Lambda sensor and remains the undisputed global leader in engine management and emissions technology. As the premier Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for automakers worldwide, BOSCH oxygen sensors guarantee exact fitment, unmatched reliability, and superior response times to help engines run cleaner and more efficiently .

• ✔ Genuine BOSCH planar technology ensures highly accurate, continuous air-fuel mixture regulation and fast light-off times .

⚠ Diagnostic & Installation Tip ⚠

Before replacing the oxygen sensor:

• Check the exhaust system for leaks upstream of the sensor. Exhaust leaks can draw in outside air, skewing the sensor's readings and triggering false lean mixture codes .
• This BOSCH oxygen sensor comes with threads pre-coated with anti-seize compound. Do not apply additional anti-seize, and ensure it never touches the sensor tip or slots, as this will permanently ruin the sensor element .
• Always route the 500 mm sensor cable carefully, keeping it away from extreme heat sources like the exhaust manifold to prevent melting and short circuits .
