Manufacturer Note: This brand-new pump is factory-tested on a test bench by BOSCH prior to packaging; therefore, slight contact marks around the mounting bolt holes and residual test fluid are completely normal .
Safety First: Direct injection fuel systems operate under extreme pressure. Always safely depressurize the fuel system and allow the engine to cool completely before disconnecting any fuel lines .
Inspect the camshaft lobe and the roller tappet (cam follower) for signs of wear, scoring, or flat spots, and tighten the mounting bolts evenly in alternating turns to the vehicle manufacturer's specified torque .
