- Always replace the Teflon (PTFE) combustion chamber seals if an injector is removed and reinstalled. New injectors typically come pre-fitted with new seals. Always use the correct sizing/compression tools for the Teflon seal to prevent damage during installation into the cylinder head.
- Verify if the vehicle's Engine Control Unit (ECU) requires adaptation or coding of the new injector flow calibration values after installation.
