- Always ensure the engine is fully cooled down and depressurize the fuel system prior to removing any lines to prevent injury and fire hazards .
- Carefully clean the area around the injector return ports before installation to prevent any debris from compromising the new O-ring seals, which could lead to immediate leaks .
- Be extremely gentle when pressing the plastic connectors onto the injectors. Applying excessive force or installing them at an angle can snap the fragile plastic nipples .
