Product Information

Fuel Quantity Control Valve (also known as the Inlet Metering Valve or ZME) is mounted on the high-pressure pump. It regulates the quantity of fuel entering the pumping chamber before it is pressurized. By controlling the volume on the low-pressure side, it improves engine efficiency and reduces fuel temperature.

✔ Controls fuel volume ensuring precise rail pressure.
✔ Reduces load on the high-pressure pump.
✔ Critical for smooth idle and acceleration.

Symptoms of a faulty Metering Unit:

Unstable or "hunting" idle (RPM fluctuation) ,
Engine stalls when stopping at lights ,
Lack of power or Limp Home Mode ,
Fault Codes: P0089, P0090, P0091, P0092 .
