Before replacing the exhaust pressure / DPF sensor:

Thoroughly inspect the rubber or metal pressure lines connecting the sensor to the exhaust. Cracked, melted, or soot-blocked hoses will cause false sensor readings and trigger recurring DPF faults .
Clear any accumulated moisture or soot from the connection points, but never blow compressed air directly into the new sensor ports, as this will instantly destroy the sensitive internal diaphragm .
After installing the new sensor, it is almost always required to use a diagnostic scan tool to reset the DPF adaptation values so the ECU recognizes the new sensor calibration .
